As of October 2021, for medical dermatology services, we accept most Regence Blue Cross, Providence, and Pacific Source plans. Any co-pays are expected to be paid on the day of service immediately before the appointment.
Patients without insurance and with other insurance plans are welcome here. Anyone may schedule an appointment with us on a self-pay basis, and can bill their insurance companies themselves afterwards, with the exception of Medicare.
Medicare patients must sign a form to opt-out of Medicare for their visits, and pay for the visit themselves directly. The receptionists have the self-pay fee schedule.
Any treatment that is being done to improve the appearance of the skin as opposed to removing a skin cancer, is considered "cosmetic surgery" by insurance companies and is not covered. These types of treatments and procedures all require the patient to pay for themself.
Dr. Katherine Stiles ND is available to consult with for naturopathic care. These services are also based on a self-payment basis. Please ask the receptionists for more information.
