Insurance Information
General Medical Dermatology - Insurances That We Accept
For medical dermatology services, we accept most MODA, Regence Blue Cross, Providence, Aetna, Cigna, UHC and Pacific Source plans. Any co-pays are expected to be paid on the day of service immediately before the appointment.
Patients without insurance or with other insurance plans are welcome here. Anyone may schedule an appointment with us on a self-pay basis, we will ask for deposit at time of scheduling.
KDA no longer participates in Medicare, and patients with Medicare who wish to be seen here may self-pay after signing a form to opt out of Medicare related to this office. Medicaid does not allow this, so we cannot see Medicaid patients.
Medical Cosmetic Treatments are Not Covered by Insurance
Any treatment that is being done to improve the appearance of the skin as opposed to removing a skin cancer, is considered "cosmetic surgery" by insurance companies and is not covered. These types of treatments and procedures all require the patient to pay for themself.
Naturopathic Medical Services
Dr. Katherine Stiles ND is available to consult with for naturopathic care. These services are also based on a self-payment basis. Please ask the receptionists for more information.
